In light of the Moon

Unique item. Painting on furniture-maker wood, coated with a mixture of glue and "Blanc de Meudon". Six coats are necessary, the surface is lightly sand-papered. The technique which is used is a mixture of watercolor and natural gums (arabic gum...). The gilding, front and back, is made with copperleaf ( Old gold patina on front). A cotton and silk pouch protects this delicate object during a trip.
